Las Vegas is the 5th most popular foreign travel vacation destination in the world, millions of people enjoy the Las Vegas lifestyle every year and many of the come to the city of lights to get married. Actor Johnny Weissmuller tied the knot in Las Vegas in 1933, and today over 120,000 couples head for the Nevada gambling resorts and wedding chapels every year in order to get married – plus a few who get wed on the spur of the moment. Years ago, many couples journeyed to Las Vegas to take advantage of the lenient divorce and marriage laws in Nevada and as you know, any person authorized by the state of Nevada can perform the marriage ceremony.
